Richard Hunt. "Harlem Hybrid"
American sculptor Richard Hunt created this sculpture specifically for Roosevelt Triangle after referencing its urban context. The four models that were created in preparation for this sculpture are now in the Schomburg Center For Research and Black Culture. Hunt was honored with the International Sculpture Center's Lifetime Achievement Award. He is well known for his large scale abstract works and as one of the leading African American sculptors today.
