Peter Woytuk. "The Falling Apples"


American sculptor Peter Woytuk has an extensive exhibition along the Broadway Mall from Columbus Circle to Harlem. This sculpture from this exhibition titled Peter Woytuk on Broadway is The Falling Apples. The exhibition will be on view from October 21, 2011 until April 27, 2012 and is made possible thanks to the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation and The Morrison Gallery. Andrzej Liguz. "M.O.R.E. Drums"


Famous photographer Andrzej Liguz created this interactive recycled piece which part of the Figment 2011 Sculpture Garden. It is part of his M.O.R.E. creations. The sculpture garden ran from May 27 until September 25, 2011. The sculpture garden was made possible thanks to NYC Department of Parks & Recreation and Figment NYC. Henry Moore. "Standing Figure: Knife Edge"


British sculptor Henry Moore created this sculpture that stands outside of the Solow Building directly outside of the Solow Arts Gallery. Interesting to note is that the Solow Arts Gallery is a private art gallery that no one and absolutely no one but Mr. Solow himself can enter. Not even those who work in the building can enter. The gallery is full of paintings and sculptures by some of the world's most renowned artists. This sculpture is one of a set of identical sculptures that are located around the world. Frederick Roth. "Dancing Goat"


American animal sculptor Frederick Roth created this sculpture that is permanently installed inside of Central Park Zoo. The sculpture is one of about three other sculptures Roth has installed in Central Park. Roth also served as the head sculptor of the NYC Department of Park and Recreation which makes possible many of the sculpture exhibitions we publish on this site.

Miquel Barcelo. "Gran Elefandret"


Spanish artist Miquel Barcelo has this huge elephant sculpture at Union Square Triangle next to Union Square Park. The sculpture will be there from September 13, 2011 until May 29, 2012. Tom Otterness. "The Dodo Bird"


My favorite sculptor Tom Otterness has this dodo sculpture permanently installed in a small playground next to Nelson D. Rockefeller Park located in Battery Park. The sculpture is part of The Real World exhibition that the artist has permanently installed there. More info: Tom Otterness' website

American artist Alison Saar created this sculpture which is part of the Feallan and Fallow sculpture exhibition. This sculpture is not part of the seasons exhibition but is rather the central point of the whole exhibit. The exhibition is currently on view from September 22 until December 31, 2011 at Madison Square Park. The exhibition is made possible thanks to Delta Airlines, NYC Department of Parks & Recreation, the Madison Square Park Conservancy, and several other organizations.

This sculpture is from this exhibition that runs from August 29 until November 18, 2011.
