Auguste Rodin. "The Three Shades"
Legendary pioneer French sculptor Auguste Rodin, better known for having created the Thinker sculpture, created this sculpture which is permanently on the Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Roof Garden located on the roof of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This is one of his three most famous sculptures, and the sculpture is on of many editions that are exhibited in various museums around the world.
