Jesus Ramirez from San Fernando, California sent us his sculpture contribution:
Artist Ignacio Gomez created these sculptures which consist of ten life sized figures representing the ten thousand marchers who marched for 340 miles to Sacramento at the California State Capitol in 1966. The sculptures are permanently located in San Fernando as part of the Cesar E. Chavez Memorial Dedication Site.
