Mark di Suvero. "New Beginning"


Legendary Chinese born American sculptor Mark di Suvero created this sculpture which was installed in Governors Island. The sculpture was part of the exhibition Mark di Suvero at Governors Island which lasted from May 27 until September 25, 2011. Steinunn Thorarinsdottir. "Situations" Exhibition Sculpture Contribution

Icelandic sculptor Steinunn Thorarinsdottir created this sculpture which is currently at the Economist Plaza in London. The sculpture is part of an exhibition titled Situations that is being curated by Peter Osborne of the Osborne Samuel Gallery, who also represent Ms. Thorarinsdottir. Nicolas Lavarenne. "Grand Arc-bouté" Sculpture Contribution


Tom Lees from Rugby, England sent us his sculpture contribution:

French sculptor Nicolas Lavarenne created this sculpture which is temporarily located in Cannes, France. The sculpture which appears to have several editions has traveled extensively in the past. His sculptures share the same visible characteristics as the one presented here.

The Fashion Center. "Sidewalk Catwalk" Exhibition


The Fashion Center hosted a special exhibition titled Sidewalk Catwalk on the Broadway Plaza. Many important fashion designers contributed toward this special art exhibition by creating their own mannequins. From start to finish we have: Maria Cornejo, Elie Tahari, Prabal Gurung, Thom Browne, Victor Alfaro, Michael Kors, Rachel Roy, Parsons' Ellie Saunders & Niyati Karwat, Carmen Marc Valvo, Carlos Falchi, Betsey Johson, Jason Wu, FIT's Christopher Ciaccia & Ariel Penzer, Diane von Furstenberg, Donna Karan, Catherine Malandrino, Isaac Mizrahi, JAmes Badgey & Marc Mischka, Jill Stuart, John Bartlett, Norma Kamali, Naeem Khan, Kenneth Cole, Nicole Miller, Rebecca Moses, Rebecca Taylor, Stephen Burrows, Yeohlee Teng, and Tommy Hilfiger. Anna Vaughn Hyatt Huntington. "Jaguars"


Famous equestrian and animal sculptor Anna Vaughn Hyatt Huntington created these jaguar sculptures that guard the entrance to Astor Place in the Bronx Zoo. Her sculptures are permanently places in the zoo after having spent much time at the zoo with her father who worked there while she created statues based on molds she did of the animals living there.

Legendary American sculptor Paul Manship created a set of two sculptures called Mankind Figures (Maiden and Youth). Today we present Maiden which is on permanent display in the Channel Gardens and Promenade of Rockefeller Center.

Bayard. "SWAN"


Bayard created this unusual sculpture that is currently on view at Governors Island in FIGMENT 2011 Sculpture Park. The inflatable sculpture is on view from May 27 until September 25, 2011.
