Gwyneth Leech. "Hypergraphia: The Cup Drawings"
American artist Gwyneth Leech created this wonderful piece on exhibit at the Prow Art Space of the Flatiron Building. The exhibit is created from used paper coffee cups that have been painted on by the artist. The exhibition will be available for view from September 19 until December 31, 2011. The exhibit is brought in part thanks to the Flatiron Art Space and Cheryl McGinnis Gallery. More info: Gwyneth Leech's website

@Sam.
Glad you like it Sam! :D
These pictures are soo good they should be in like a sculpture magazine or something. I like the picture with you in it it looks like you're standing in front of a picture or something and not real cups
@Kevin
Aww thanks Hoffman! :D
Hi Gina and Leslie,
Thanks for stopping by back at the beginning of November. The installation continues to grow and change as I draw more cups in my window studio and add them every few days. The exhibit has been extended through February 18th, 2012. Come by again sometime!
Regards,
Gwyneth
I'm so glad to see I wasn't the only one fascinated by Gwyneth Leech's work at the Flatiron building! Hypergraphia is really quite the sight! Such a simple idea, but beautifully executed. I could stare for hours and still not see every cup in the exhibit!
