George Edwin Bissell. "Monument to John Watts"
Early American sculptor George Edwin Bissell created this statue that serves as a monument to Chancellor John Watts. The statue rests upon Watts' grave stone in Trinity Church, one of Manhattan's oldest churches and first Episcopalian church. Bissell was also the creator of many of the oldest statues and memorials located around Manhattan.
