In 2000, there was a large exhibition of cows throughout all five boroughs of NYC named Cow Parade which many people still remember today. The exhibition has also occurred throughout other cities around the world and continues to this day. This particular cow is located in PS 282 Park Slope in Brooklyn. During this exhibition many schools were provided with cows which their students could design and enter into a competition. The winning design of each particular school would be placed near the school so everyone in the neighborhood would be able to view it. More info: Cow Parade New York 2000's website
