At the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, the famous Peace Fountain is located which is a must see in Morningside Heights. The impressive fountain is a recent 1985 sculpture by sculptor-in-residence of the cathedral Greg Wyatt. The sculpture depicts the battle of Archangel Michael and Satan, whose head can be seen hanging off a claw. The fountain includes a sculpture but no water whatsoever.
