Peter Eisenman. "Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe" Sculpture Contribution
Bethany Robinson from Bangor, Northern Ireland sent us her sculpture contribution:
American architect Peter Esisenman created this memorial located in Berlin, Germany to honor the lives of the many Jewish people who lost their lives in the Holocaust. The memorial consists of 2,711 concrete stelae that are of varying heights placed along a sloping field. The names of those known to have lost their lives are inscribed at an attached underground place of information.
