Sculptor Joan Benefiel's new piling projects on the Broadway Plazas in the Fashion/Garment District are currently on exhibition until the end of August. Many people remember Benefiel from her past exhibition the Hudson River Pilings Project which was identical to the one currently displayed here. The exhibit is composed of 30 translucent resin female nude figures which are installed on tall wooden pilings. More info on the Figurations Studio website.
